A quick and easy Tortellini in a creamy pesto Alfredo Sauce with grab and Go Rotisserie Chicken from Loblaws!
The holidays can be busy, especially with all the family fun events taking place, as well as shopping, errands, etc. I like to have a few quick and easy dinner recipes for those nights when I’m too busy to cook a full meal, but I don’t want to take them away either! This Chicken Alfredo Tortellini is a quick and easy meal that is delicious, comes together in less than 20 minutes and everything is done in one pan, so cleanup is a breeze!
This recipe is made simply by going to my local Loblaws to pick up a roasted chicken from the Grab-and-Go zone with chilled Tortellini and ready-made Pesto. Using the pre-cooked chicken really speeds things up and the refrigerated Tortellini cooks in no time and requires a lot less liquid, so you can easily prepare them in one pan.
I love making my own Alfredo Sauce from scratch and it’s so easy to make at home! It’s just butter, garlic, cream and a lot of Parmesan cheese! If you prefer, you could save even more time by getting a ready-made Alfredo Sauce in the Grab-and-Go section of Loblaws!
After the Alfredo Sauce is prepared, the chicken broth is added for flavor and as a liquid for cooking the Tortellini. When the Tortellini are tender, just add the spinach, pesto and chicken and you’re ready!
Although this meal is super simple, it will also impress dinner guests!
During the festive season, if you are looking for a quick and easy recipe, this 20-minute Chicken Alfredo Tortellini with a frying pan is perfect, even for unexpected last-minute guests! A quick stop at your Local Loblaws Grab and go section will help you pull off that meal in less than 20 minutes in the kitchen! This is a complete meal in itself, but feel free to grab ready-made pages while you’re at Loblaws!
Save these bones to make your own chicken broth (also known as chicken bone broth)! Throw the bones in a bag and store them in the freezer until a day when you still have a little time to prepare the broth!
